1. Who we are

Verum Logic Partners LLP (“Verum Logic”, “we”, “our”) is a limited liability partnership registered in India. Our registered office is at Nicco House, 3rd Floor, 2 Hare Street, Kolkata 700001, West Bengal. We operate the website verumlogicllp.com and the free browser tools hosted at verumlogicllp.com/tools.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Contact form

When you submit the contact form we collect your name, company, role, preferred contact method, and a description of the workflow you want to fix. This data is processed by Formspree (formspree.io) on our behalf and forwarded to us by email. We do not store it on our own servers.

2.2 Browser tools

The Tax Calculator and MSME Suite Pro run entirely in your browser. No input data (income figures, invoice details, dates, or amounts) is transmitted to our servers or to any third party. Data you enter is stored only in your browser’s localStorage so the tool remembers your last session. Clearing your browser data removes it completely.

2.3 Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. GA4 collects anonymised usage data including page views, session duration, and general geographic region. It does not receive any financial or invoice data you enter in the tools. You can opt out using browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

2.4 Server logs

Cloudflare, our hosting and CDN provider, records standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamp) for security and performance purposes. These logs are retained according to Cloudflare’s own data retention policy.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
• To understand how our site and tools are used so we can improve them.
• To protect the security and integrity of the site.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis (for EU/EEA visitors)

Processing of contact form data is based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics data is processed on the basis of your implied consent through continued use of the site.

5. Data retention

Contact form enquiries are retained in our email for up to 3 years, after which they are deleted unless a business relationship has been established. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India) and applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@verumlogicllp.com.

7. Cookies

We use first-party localStorage (not cookies) in the browser tools. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _gid). No marketing or tracking cookies are set by us.
